Yes. The noose is tightening and the Imperial Core has been finding it increasingly harder and harder to extract that same profit and obedience its been receiving for decades. To counteract this more harsh and extreme measures are being taken, and this has affected everyone, everywhere.

While the infobubble is getting weaker and weaker, and information is becoming more fluid, there is still shit going on right now that we will not be made privy to for 10, 20, 30 years unless western governments start falling before then and their secrets declassified. Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo, the appalling abuses there could pale in comparison to what we learn in the future.

Certain abuses are not seen by liberal media as abuses, yet are some of the most disgusting acts to have been committed in many of our lifetimes. Ukrainians are going to freeze and starve en masse as a sacrificial pawn in the game of U.S. hegemony. Europeans will be evicted, they will freeze, and they will choke to death on the emissions from gas stoves and barbecue grills they use to try to stay warm this winter. The blame lays squarely at their leaders and the U.S.'s feet, yet liberal history will likely not condemn them for it for many years, until it’s too late to do anything about and they can effectively hand-wave responsibility.
