I was thinking it would be nice to have a study group or something similar to that where we could post parts of theory that we’re reading and ask questions or discuss how it’s relevant to modern conditions, stuff like that.

Please consider using !dm_@lemmygrad.ml as a home for this; exactly what I envisioned for it!

Though in its infancy, there is a home for Dialectical Materialism.

Would absolutely love to see more analysis, Parenti posting, or even excerpts from the OGs we find are relevant as we fulfill our obligation of (re-)reading theory!

I can’t imagine a reality where some fairy-tale plan like this has any shot of working. At least at the level of /r/genusa, the ‘incompetent commie’ insult is projection from a place of subconsciously-felt inferiority. These efforts of theirs are the ways in which they prove to themselves they are significant minds. In the political space, our existence allows for whatever small hope they have for feeling meaningful.

Also, let’s work together to make a more long term plan. I have a heavy work day today but can set aside some time during breaks to strategize

It will soon get to a point where the attacks they make will be categorically ineffective, and so I only see gains, albeit small ones, from doing it.

EnoughCommieSpam will always be EnoughCommieSpam - they’re not going anywhere and don’t suddenly stop being against communists on Reddit once we’re gone. Not defending the idealism of the OP, but they are a cesspool requiring our attention.

Our efforts would be compounded by focusing on friendly subreddits where our accounts won’t be banned as frequently, but that hasn’t happened yet and this is at least some move in the direction of action
