They have no interest in dialogue, and they have been consistently attacking us, our communities, and harassing our members.
Let’s use this post to share threads which we could intervene with comments, not attacking anyone but by unironically responding to their arguments, engage with each other’s comments, upvoting, imperializing EnoughCommieSpam into becoming a new GenZedong.
This will piss off many anti-communists and we will have fun in the process. It’s a win-win.
EnoughCommieSpam will always be EnoughCommieSpam - they’re not going anywhere and don’t suddenly stop being against communists on Reddit once we’re gone. Not defending the idealism of the OP, but they are a cesspool requiring our attention.
Our efforts would be compounded by focusing on friendly subreddits where our accounts won’t be banned as frequently, but that hasn’t happened yet and this is at least some move in the direction of action
I’ve never said they will stop being against communists, but doing this will not help them stop doing attacks and it will draw more attention, they surpass us highly in numbers and it would be pointless to try and do shit over Reddit since they can ban us in an instant. Getting other communists here is a good step, but trying to go and attack liberals is not.
Part of the magic behind doing those kind of things is that you don’t need a certain allegiance or affiliation; it doesn’t have to be known it’s anyone from here or anyone else. Black ops are fun.
Making a post in a public forum is the opposite of a black op, if someone wants to do it that way it should be done in private, imo.
Also, let’s work together to make a more long term plan. I have a heavy work day today but can set aside some time during breaks to strategize
It will soon get to a point where the attacks they make will be categorically ineffective, and so I only see gains, albeit small ones, from doing it.
