Not libs.
They think it fails because ideological arguments
So mich this!!! You really distilled it!
What I did is just discord like the first article with a Huh, I didn’t know that to a friend, with no other context.
The the next one, Huh, look what I found… ect, ect. . Now they feel north korea is more than meet the eyes
The first thing to show them is the wikipedia article on north korea media coverage.
It should cause a bit of a cognitive dissonance.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disinformation_in_media_coverage_of_North_Korea
Here, I even went fishing for the link to help.
Then, there are a lot of tourists who took pictures of north Korea and brought them back.
They are telling.
https://www.ericlafforgue.com/gallery/Countries/North Korea
I particularly like eric lafforgue because he took illegal pictures and was simply banned, destroying the myth of getting killed/maimed/whatevered from disrespecting the rules.
The last step is to show theses articlea from what happens daily in South Korea, which most people think is an actual country and not an american subsidiary.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poverty_in_South_Korea
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economic_inequality_in_South_Korea
And then compare Chaebols with the Kims
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaebol
The conclusion after that is that both Korea are under duress, for completly different reasons.
One is limited in ressources and isolated, with a lot of poweful enemies and few allies.
The other is a feodal state controlled by corporatism and outside interests…

In Canada, a lot of the “value” produced is just Canadian selling the same houses to each others at inflated prices, at breakneck pace.
It’s housing hypertrading, it’s Kafkaesque…
LeGrognardOfLoveto Futurology@futurology.today•Anthropic CEO warns AI could erase 50% of entry-level white-collar jobs within five years, pushing unemployment up to 20% without swift policy action.English2·14 days agoIt’s not even a secret, it’s not even hard to find rich people saying just that.
It’s simply the only thing that is going on.
We are stuck with people who think life on earth is just a way to get to heaven where everything is perfect, so they don’t care what happen here.
These people are taking a lot of long term decisions in the industrialized world.
We are also stuck with people who exploit their way to power, and frankly don’t care what happen in the future.
These people are also taking a lot of long term decisions in the industrialized world.
We are also stuck with the naive people who think everything is alright, because they wish it so
These people could be the balance of power but they instead choose to do nothing and sit on their hands because they think that in the end, everything will be alright.
I’m kinda depressed suddenly…

Japanese society is a form of modern slavery. Once you are out of university and a “salaryman”, all your hopes and dreams are crushed. You’re the feodal slave of someone who inherited his wealth and is using the ultra-conservative system to keep you in the same position all of your life.
This is why most Japanese media are all about the power of youth and such…
LeGrognardOfLoveto US News•Death penalty on the table for first time child sex crime offendersEnglish4·15 days agoI just don’t get why you’d be on board with death penalty at all.
What does it solves exactly?
It’s so abusable and there’s no take back… I feel it’s mostly an emotional solution to material issues… It also has been proven to not have a detering effect.
It’s mostly the same as torture. Ineffective, abusable, permanent.
I’m not saying this as an attack or something, I’m just genuinely puzzled at any kind of support to death penalty.

Pharmaceutical, chemical industries, some high tech material … They also count assembly of parts in semi-automated factory for final product as manufacturing.
I’m not sure it’s cheating. It’s just that manufacturing means more than just steel and base products…
You can still have good manufacturing output but not be producing base products. It just means that you have a different import/export profile.
Just look at the us imports/exports, you’ll see what I mean…
It’s useful if you just don’t do…That. it’s just a new fancy search engin, it’s a bit better than going to stack overflow, it can do good stuff if you go small.
Just don’t do whatever this post suggested of doing…
LeGrognardOfLoveto Ask Lemmygrad•Are there Chinese video games with left thoughts?English3·16 days agoThat’s a good take. Just take note tho, cultural products are products of their culture and society. Videogame are not inherently “bouggie”, they just happen to be produced by these type of interests in our current time.

No idea how this stupidity managed to spread so fast, but I’ve had so many conversations with people who looks like they can use their heads only to learn that they mistrust vaccines for no real reason other than gut feeling.
“It’s not natural” or some shit like that… What does that even mean, they think vaccines are supernatural?!
