I had someone say to me recently, “and what are we supposed to do? The midterms are 2 years away.” As if nothing could be done in the next two years… That all we can do is sit on our hands a wait for the state to present us with its choices for “representatives” and hope that somehow that changes something. That’s “resistance” here.
The oppressed are allowed once every few years to decide which particular representatives of the oppressing class shall represent and repress them in parliament.

I knew a girl who blocked me for voting 3rd party but the conversation before that was like:
Me: “electoralism is a scam, why don’t you organize outside of election years”
Her: “What am I, a social media manager making less than 60k a year, supposed to do?!”

The store I’m talking about didn’t even claim their clothes were union made, that was just the name of the store. It was an aesthetic callback to what is to seen as a quaint, bygone era.
