I’m not “disagreeing” with you in that yes, we do have some “idealists” and certainly not a lack of idealism in some places but more often than not something unique I’ve noticed is that a lot of them leave/get tired, genuinely learn some grounding and start digging into theory other than just Marx alone or eventually say some shit and get banned.
