In Poland private companies are never even replying with anything, and govt orgs also do not reply, but you can check whose relative they did employed instead of you.

Those included in the collage were those employers kind enough to edge me for weeks before telling me I sucked lol. Still more decent than just letting us fucking wonder.

The amount of times I’ve had to explain to people who spout “there’s so many jobs hiring right now! People are just lazy because of the pandemic!” Nonsense that even though they’re seeing “hiring” signs everywhere, employers are stupidly picky and give shit wages for gruelling work and hours.

All of the pandemic government cheques (CERB here in Canada that only covered a very specific group of people) was still not enough for people to make ends meet effectively so of course people are searching for work but those hiring are being very stingy. If they were that desperate for workers we wouldn’t have so many unemployed…

Whatever percentage capitalist governments claim the unemployment rate is at they’re damn well lying fr, let alone how many jobs are available and actually real. I read an article about “ghost jobs” where workers were posting jobs en masse to indeed etc. posing as companies who were offering them jobs and willing to pay more than other places. Fucking Walmart had like 50 job listings recommended to me two months ago, and now not a single one is showing up. This shit is so irrational.
