There is very little awareness of systemic problems in the west. This is one core problem with liberal ideology that sees everything as simply a sum of individual actions. Liberals fundamentally reject the idea that systemic pressures exist and that individuals act in a way that makes sense for them to act given how the system functions.
You just gotta believe in yourself brah! Gotta set yourself goals and achieve them brah!
