Things have ebbed again into a slight lull—or at least seeming one—as Iran reportedly stepped back from its intention to launch major strikes, as well as Ukraine’s Kursk adventure having ground to a halt and transitioned into the typical positional warfare.
Other than the author likely being LGBT-phobic (which is an “other” the size of the moon) I don’t see any other signs that they are that reactionary, though I do admit I don’t read all of their articles, and I do have a very bad feeling about them, and to be fair, some people on the autistic spectrum do self-describe as autists or engage in light-hearted self-deprecation, though I’m autistic and I find it a mixed-bag.
I can’t provide any examples but I’ve read his stuff on and off for a couple of years now. He’s definitely in the reactionary category, he’s certainly no revolutionary. But he does give an honest appraisal of the situation and is useful to read for facts, not opinions.
Yeah, I am on the spectrum as well and I find that joke to just be light-hearted and not really insulting. What I do find sad is that the western “left” has let itself be outflanked by the reactionaries on this war, which is why we have to rely so much on these types of sources.
