I could have sworn that just a couple of decades ago antisocialists were laughing at the DPRK for being so poorly lit (which was actually a good idea as it reduced waste). Now the lighting is noticeably better and they still aren’t satisfied. Typical.
Just make everyone richer and nobody will be poor!
But also: if you raise the minimum wage it will just inflate prices because people can afford more.
Somehow they hold both these ideas in their heads
Empty heads can hold lots of contradictions.
Capitalist method for eliminating poverty:
- Postdict centuries of wealth using incomplete data
- ???
- Set the poverty limit to two bucks a day
- ???
- If somebody notices, assume that 90% of the world must have ridiculously low inflation
- ???
- Poverty gone!
