He never took a private plane to Coachella though. It’s great when people make up drama to get mad at. You shouldn’t believe everything everyone says online.

The source for “him taking a jet to Coachella” is his own editor who keeps purposefully creating fake drama for fun (with permission). People on Twitter are not bright thought to realize the satire, or that he’s just straight lying for laughs.

If this is the drama I think it is, it’s because he visited Coachella himself for fun, by carpool, and on the last night he was last minute scheduled to announce an award at the Shorty Awards in New York the next morning. There were no regular flights available on such short notice, with the earliest being the next morning and too late, so the organizers of the Awards found that David Dobrik had hired a private jet for his entourage to go the Shortys and they would be leaving from LAX that night, so the organizers threw Hasan on as a +1. Which is why in the photos he looks awkward, high, and is just by himself sitting.

That was the only time he’s ever been on a private jet in his life, and I feel like this is significantly different compared to Taylor Swift owning a private jet and taking an obscene number of flights for laughable distances.

Fact is once you become wealthy and famous and start to surround yourself with other wealthy and famous people sooner or later you start thinking and acting like them, regardless how well intentioned or principled you were before. You lose touch with the working masses because your lifestyle and your concerns are so far removed from theirs. What you would have once considered obscene, ostentatious displays of privilege become normalized for you.

Definitely agree, but this seems like a really misplaced argument here.

Do you think a person who earns 750k a year from their own labour and isn’t exploiting anyone in the process at all; is anywhere near the level of celebrities, politicians, and CEOs who make 750k (or more) in an hour or day, and exploit thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people to “make” “””their””” money?

What rich people does Hasan even associate with? Other streamers? Comedians? Who else does he bring on stream or hang out with? I’m not that sure Jeff Bezos would be really keen to hang out with him.

One of the reasons our party keeps insisting on making politicians earn (bearly above) minimum wage

As they should. If they can’t live off of it, then maybe they’ll be a bit more keen to raise the minimum.

They’re already getting the best healthcare for free, security, transportation stipends, and etc. The minimum should be more then enough for them.

Pathetic, terminally online “leftists” looking for any and every reason (especially petty and/or made-up ones!) to criticize more popular leftists instead of doing literally anything else to help.
