If CEOs don’t want their engineers working multiple jobs, then pay those engineers what they’re worth. Profits are not pocketable by the upper ladder; and no, I don’t believe a CEO when he says he was paying those engineers their worth. Not when EVERY job interview I’ve had over the last two years has seen the hiring agent try to lowball me anywhere from 10 to 30k what the local average for my field is.
Funny how a bunch of this CEO’s “red flags” are also just things people trying to avoid bossware and trying to preserve the energies and hours their bosses will GLEEFULLY steal would do. Fuck that CEO, fuck everyone who reps him.
