based just on the cops behavior without knowing where this was I would say it was town of about 50k, around 80% white, just outside a major city. Turns out it’s Keller, TX just outside the city of Ft. worth, population 47k and 74% white. Towns like this exist all over the US. See Keller’s property taxes dont go to pay for public housing or homeless shelters or even the police in nearby ft worth, they only pay for their “own” services. Keller already has plenty of schools, and clean roads, and there aren’t any homeless people in its borders but it does have a small crime problem almost 100% from nearby residents in Ft worth. So Keller takes all that spare property tax money from all those beautiful suburban mini mansions and gated communities, and spends it all on the police department, they have a small army to police a tiny town of mostly well off conservative white people who spend most of the workday in Ft worth anyway. All on the off chance they might bump into a criminal every month or so. Some local police budgets are so overflowing they buy military grade equipment like that APC just for fun
