I was honestly very worried that the gusanos and papists would have prevented the passing of this family code. I doomscrolled on Twitter and saw a surprising number of anti-communist Cubans, CIA cutouts and reich-wing fascist rejects either refusing to vote or admitting to voting no or advocating for regime change, but this warms my heart.

    Absolutely amazing! Let’s see the CIA try their new woke imperialist bs about Cuba now. They yap on about women’s rights in Afghanistan as a reason to invade while their sanctions are causing a famine that is so severe many liberals even argue it equates to genocide. Now Cuba in both culture and law is 10x more progressive than anything AOC has ever pushed for. This is a win in every way for not only Cuba but all of latin America. Was great to see that at the same time as this Gustavo Petro in Columbia is at the UN arguing to end the drug war as well as our dependence on oil. These countries are paving the way for a progressive global south free from the grips of imperialism.
