Hmm ok I got access to the article through The Wikipedia Library. I can’t share my link but if you have institutional access, you can see it here.[0] Even more strange is that this NYTimes article claims it was the Red Men of America. Which I truly hope is not the same thing as the Improved Order of Red Men. More helpfully it claims it was Chief Paul Horn who awarded this. He is a member of the Kootenai tribe
