      Maybe Abraham Lincoln? I understand he’s not the anti-racist hero we like to think the Great Emancipator was, but I still regard him as better than the rest. I dont know how he might have been towards Natives.

        He presided over the largest single execution of natives for an uprising. He could have pardoned them but thought it important they be made example of.

        Still, as far as I know he’s just about the least worst if we’re not counting those who died within 6 months of taking office.
