Behind the scenes: Biden hasn’t spoken to Netanyahu in the 20 days since a tense Dec. 23 call, which a frustrated Biden ended with the words: “This conversation is over.” They had spoken almost every other day in the first two months of the war.
Why it matters: Since the Oct. 7 Hamas attack 100 days ago, Biden has given Israel his full backing, with unprecedented military and diplomatic support, even while taking a political hit from part of his base in an election year.

I’ll take it, if that’s the case. But I don’t buy it for a second. Biden and the rest of the establishment is 100% pro-genocide and erasure of Palestinians. They are not “running out” of patience. Maybe feeling some public pressure, that’s all.
Plausible. Furious but not at what some gullible libs will assume. More like he’s upset that Bibi hasn’t shown enough gratitude and explained how much fun he’s having with all the military aid landing wrapped in ribbons.
He’s mad Bibi isn’t lying through his teeth to give him plausible deniability and as a result is getting blamed for supporting a genocide just because he said he would support rhe genocide unconditionally

Bibi: “Listen we need more time to implement the genocide, things are not going well, our soldiers are getting their asses kicked and despite how much we all love genocide and ethnic cleansing around here it turns out no one actually planned very far into doing it so we’re still trying to figure out how to get the seawater to flood their tunnels, erm I mean groundwater thing working though we were hoping they’d all just starve before then”
Biden: “Listen here Jack, back in my day we turned out the lights and pulled the curtains and finished our genocides quickly, this is starting to make me look bad and those inner city kids, many of whom are as smart as white kids, are starting to get uppity”
Bibi: “We are trying, but those damn Palestinians are just not dying fast enough, we thought turning off the water, destroying the hospitals, limiting the medicine, bombing bakeries, cutting off food supply and killing thousands with indiscriminate bombing would have disease, starvation and so on dropping their numbers by thousands a day, instead they keep on living”
Biden: “Listen I don’t want excuses”
Bibi: “Well maybe if you had more shells to give us and hadn’t given them all to that Zelensky and the Ukraine…”
Biden: “We had to fight Russia, listen Putin, ah um, see Russia and China, what I mean Jack is uh… mumbles incoherently for 5 minutes and uh where was I?”
Bibi: “We just need a bit more time, I’m sure they’ll start dying en mass any day now and we can put this behind us. Hey listen can you pressure Egypt to open the Sinai, I don’t think we’ll be able to kill them all, so maybe we just kill half and you help us push them out into the Sinai in say a month or two, four tops?”
Biden: “I told you to wrap it up, I don’t care how, you know I’ll defend you man but you have to finish them off, you can’t wait around for nature to do it for you”
Bibi: “Ah but-”
Biden: “This conversation is over”
Bits aside, I hate liberals who will take this meaningless crumb, this clearly planted meaningless gesture and use it to say Biden was good on this issue all along, that he did his best and rah rah rah blue-maga talk.
I can tell it’s fake because he didn’t fall asleep half way through the conversation and the distinct lack of racial slurs.
