    I thought it was a matter of 2 things:

    1 Protect an imperialist outpost in the middle east

    2 Meet the needs of Christian Dominionists and Jewish Zionists apocalyptic desires

    However, the US state does make it profitable for various corporations to support this settler colony.

      Yeah, I feel like money is more of an incidental if welcome benefit. If this wasn’t profitable, it would still be done for the reasons you’ve identified.
