Well, let’s suppose Russian troops free Donbas and Donetsk. What next? How are they gonna insure that there aren’t 1. Terrorist acts in the regions and 2. How are they gonna insure ukraine won’t have any more nazis ? Ukraine has a track record of lying and not respecting agreements . This was inspired by talking to my ukrainian grandma who has family in Russia and in her own words hates russian, and declares that people aren’t gonna forget this and that nazis/russophobic sentiment will only grow. I don’t know about second point, but for the first Russia have like 12+ years of experience of dealing with insurgency and terrorist activity on Caucasus. Guess it would be useful in Ukraine.
