I doubt there isn’t some Russian-language one, but often I find myself wanting just a quick glimpse about some soviet thing, usually technology (space program, computing, maths, logistics), but I have to choose between NATOpedia’s “Joseph Stalin considered the computer an evil product of capitalism” or reading a whole book about it. And my reading list is too full already.

I know the prolewiki covers a lot of the main interesting ideological points, but sometimes I just want to get the cliffnotes about some researcher or even more boring stuff like food.

While not really Wikis, Red Sails and MR Online are my go to sites. FRSO has some good stuff too.

Ironically enough computers were initially and are still intensively used for surveillance. The Nazis were very interested in the population tabulating machines IBM had developed for the US census. Part of the beginnings of the internet are related to surveillance at an industrial scale.

You might be able to look in the Soviet archives? Beyond books with specific topics I think ‘USSR 100 questions and answers,’ and ‘what about Russia’ might be helpful. https://ladyizdihar.com/ Has some interesting documents on specific subjects.
