At a recent event in Havana, Palestinian Ambassador to Cuba accused Israel of being the “gendarme of the interests of the West” in the Middle East.

He told BT’s Luis De Jesus Reyes that the Palestinian people will resist “so there’s not a new Nakba”.

    the Grand Mufti Al-Husseini who supported the nazis was unpopular in Palestine, winning the least number of votes for the position prior to the Mandate of Palestine. but when britain established the undemocratic Supreme Muslim Council, he was elected by the members of this council as Grand Mufti. as with everything else, the brits engaged in appeasement w him when he revealed his fascist ideology instead of removing him, which could have been done by introducing a more democratic system of government
