Yeah, and arguably capitalism already brought us a cyberpunk future we’re living through. Much of the world is run by corps that surveil and control increasingly more of our lives. And yeah, apparently some people look at all this and think that what we really need is more of the same.
It’s pretty telling that pretty much all the dystopias we imagine are capitalist in nature, while all the utopias are socialist.
