Its not just an biography about Che, it is about what he was as an person, an ML, an Guerrilheiro, How the world around him changed him, and how he changed the world. It might be an very long book, but trust me you are going to learn so much stuff from it.

    Agree. Been working on this behemoth for some months and still not finished, but it’s an extremely good biography. Insanely detailed, but still very captivating at times. The part about the events during the Cuban revolution is superb for anyone interested in day to day life of the guerillas.

    With the weight Che’s name and face carries, every principled ML should invest the time to wrestle with the actual man. Bonus imo, he’s far more based than even the myth.

    There’s this historietista from Argentina called Oesterheld who did a historieta about his life, it’s pretty cool but hard to get outside from the country, the author was a Peronist, though, and he was one of the desaparecidos during the dictatorships.
