Just signed up due to this. I’ve been removing myself from all large social media platforms and Reddit was the last one with a stronghold over my time. I was hoping to see no upvote/downvote system, but I’m glad we had a place to turn to.
You can also hide the vote counts, its in your user settings. Probably better to do so for mental health reasons, but still get the benefits of sorting content by popularity.
