    It seems that alot of those comments come from such an individualistic perspective. Understanding that the totality of all workers in a society produce a certain amount of goods and services regardless, and the real question is how those goods and services are distributed. Technology can increase the total number of goods and services per labor output per individual. Also people generally like feeling that they are contributing to society. Why are they fussing over whether one is laboring rather than how the fruits of the labor are distributed. With techological progression you can work 16 hour weeks and just chill and everyone can chill once the work necessary to maintain civilization is satisfied.

      Oh, what I wouldn’t give for that reality. If I could just get through to people that we only work as much as we do because we must have enough bullshit jobs to satisfy the greed of the capitalists. If we restructured away from shit we don’t need to worrying about socially necessary labors, we could all work a lot less and have a much higher quality of life.
