    Do they just show them off and not set any off?

    They could say something about the bomb that only people who know it works would know too, although as we’re dealing with the west it’s probably better to just use one on a carrier on the ocean otherwise they’ll think they can use nukes and still win.

      I think it’s safer to just test it out in a bunker and declare they’ve made one. Using a nuclear weapon on a target, even if it’s in combat, may open the door for retaliatory nuclear strikes from the US.

      The power of a nuke is in its deterrence not its actual effective use.

      Anyone with access to Wikipedia can tell you how a nuclear bomb works. It is a engineering question that was figured out 80 years ago. Its not rocket science.

          The upper limit on how far/fast you can make a rocket go is undefined. The upper limit of “can you use nuclear fission to cause mass destruction?” is “yes.”
