I get the others but why North Macedonia and Paraguay? What’s going on with them that they sided with the Empire?

North Macedonia aspires to join NATO and has a very right-wing and anti-communist government. They’ve been wanting to buy weapons from the US for some time now too. Small countries usually will take advantage of these votes to signal the US that they want to get closer relations. Essentially good ol’ boot licking

Odd to try and get closer to the empire now as it enters decline.

Either they’re not paying attention, are overconfident in the US’ position, have been totally captured by Langley, or are hoping the US will be desperate enough for allies they’ll bother to pay attention.

Regardless this doesn’t seem like a well thought out strategy. USA is old news now.

The bourgeoisie of Macedonia don’t think that far ahead, much like the bourgeoisie anywhere else. They would rather go down with the US than have any sort of worker empowerment

Like other countries in the area, relations eith the US are an ideological position probably.

From what little I know of Paraguay they have a history of strange right wing populist politics. Apart from that I imagine they are jumping on Argentina’s bandwagon.

I feel the same, what does Paraguay and North Macedonia have against Cuba?
