The notion that Herr Marx hated other Jews usually comes from a decontextualized quote from On the Jewish Question, where he summarises somebody else’s view of Jews. From what I remember, Herr Marx did share a fan letter from a gay man with Friedrich Engels, which disgusted him, but Herr Marx hisself had little to nothing to say about LGBT+ folk.
Okay so Engels had problems with gay people(which isn’t surprising considering it was the 1800s) but nobody knows what Marx actually thought, in conclusion: it’s just the same old misinformation. Also people not knowing how to read… a very common occurrence it seems. I want to know what that fan letter was like.
