Apparently this is causing Estonian nationalists severe butthurt. Back when I still was dumb enough to frequent r/Europe, there’d always be some screeching git going on and on about how “Estonia is not Baltic! We are NORDIC! LOOK AT THE MAP! WE ARE NOT BAAALTIIIC!”. It was weird and funny.

Oh and poles always insisted on being “central Europe”, instead of “eastern Europe”.

As a pole, I confirm the ‘centering’ of poland. Also, it becomes U$ military base now. But decades ago, while there was Polish People’s Republic here, cardinal Stefan Wyszyński, a highly influential person in this theocratic country, frequently tried to underline how Poland should be considered as belonging to “western civilization”. I think that dependency of Poland on these Vatican parasites and religion in general is the main reason why Poland is now a conservative, removed, reactionary country with mentality on the level of the dark ages.

The geographical centre of Europe is in Belarus, which is never called “central Europe” lol
