Being on Lemmy has made me realize that not having to constantly deal with nazis on your instance kind of rocks and I want that same experience on the rest of the federation.

I’m currently on mastodon.social and matrix.org and have had my problems with both but don’t know where a good place to move would be. Help me find a better place to set up on the federation. This thread was spurred by https://lemmy.ml/post/13634062 but really it’s been a problem i’ve been having for awhile now and would like to take preventative actions before liberalism starts to become hardcore nazified.

    Come to genzedong.xyz for matrix and I think the matapacos instance on mastodon is nice, there is a lemmygrad associated instance that is not a mastodon but works on mastodon, there is this akkoma instance(that works wirh mastodon) https://spectreofcommunism.boo/ that people are promoting round here too. I’m sure those are not the only ones but might be worth a shot

      Ooh spectreofcommunism has a 5,000 char limit. I do like to be able to complete a thought. Microblogging is an artifact of Twitter’s dumb phone text message origins, and is structurally limited to shitposting.
