Ok, so I was reading about solarpunk and circular economy and such, and came across this. Seems pretty reasonable, but also very vaguely worded, both by Wikipedia and the Capital Institute. I don’t yet understand what they actually advocate for in terms of economic power dynamics, and I was wondering if any of you have heard of this concept before and think it’s worth reading more into it.

Yeah without even looking at it, usually if it’s a perspective of change without a revolutionary change in the system is just fantasy, no amount of solid arguments of why it is better this way can stand against the natural direction of capitalism that inexorably goes towards expansion of capital and the necessary opression to achieve it. Of both people nature so no reform can ever fix it
Yes, that was my thought too. They realize the problem is more than just about the environment, but fail to provide any concrete solution.
