But if you have the DNA of one person you also have on average half the DNA of their siblings, children etc. and so on. Don’t let the number fool you into thinking that there aren’t more potential victims of this overreach.
I’m not sure about no harm done. The police now have the complete DNA of an entire minority neighborhood.
This is a disadvantage of the operation, I agree. But 150 people are hardly a neighborhood.
