What is/are the best sources for what is going currently in Iran? Is it a regime change OP by the west? An attempt to destabilize Iran enough to slow down their nuclear program? A legitimate response to gov’t repression? What do you think? Where is the most reliable source for ML’s to get news about Iran from?
The Cradle and Al Mayadeen are always good sources for events in the middle east. You can also check out PressTV to get the Iranian view. Breakthrough News also occasionally cover the region. And if you find interviews with Prof. Mohammad Marandi they are always worth listening to, you can learn a ton about Iran from them.

It’s interesting that while things in Iran are heating up the US military is claiming Iran will have better nuclear capabilities than DPRK in about 10 years…
I would be skeptical about any nuclear claims about Iran. They have a multi decade track record of being totally wrong. Iran seems ideologically opposed to nuclear weapons on moral/religious grounds. They obviously could develop them very quickly if they wanted to but my feeling is they won’t.
Imo all that nuclear talk besides just being a flimsy justification for keeping up the sanctions regime is a distraction from what the imperialists and their proxies in occupied Palestine are really afraid of when it comes to Iran and that’s their formidable missile and drone arsenal, especially now that there is active technological exchange with Russia, Iran is likely to get hypersonic cruise missiles before the US does. And that is a much scarier sword of Damocles over the Zionist occupation forces than any nuclear weapon because hypersonics being used on them is actually plausible and would not cause the same kind of global consternation that a nuclear attack would.
