Because if not for US imperialism, and to a lesser extent, British imperialism, I might be able to trace my genealogy farther than 90 years back. If not for US imperialism, my body and blood wouldn’t be colonized by Anglo. My mother wouldn’t have been colonized by Anglo. If not for US imperialism, the planet wouldn’t be suffocating under PFAS particulates and greenhouse gases.
The benefits of US imperialism are far outweighed by the suffering it engenders, and we will all die, horrifically, if it is not toppled.
