The Murdoch machine is huge for instance, and part of the reason democrats are beginning to lose more and more is due to voter suppression laws spearheaded by Republicans and ineffectively combated by dems. Redlining, gerrymandering, etc. There is a pertinent problem insofar as the pacs that fund Nancy Pelosi and co. are the same ones donating millions of dollars to the Repub propaganda machine as part of an insane strategy. The Republicans may be digging the grave, but the dems are handing them the shovel.
