        It is also a highly political picture capable of destroying families and long standing friendships. Actual riots have happened because some people say: ‘we don’t want a racist caricature in our holiday’.

      I went to the Netherlands around christmas to visit a girl I was dating and got pretty freaked out seeing those things performing in the middle of the train station. Like I felt more racist just for being able to see them.

        Yeah must be shocking. Luckily it’s not the norm anymore at most places. I have an unfortunate blackface pic of me as an oblivious kid sadly.
