      Companies are forced to give like ~50.1% of their shares to the CPC so that the state is always the majority shareholder, this allows them to have the majority of seats in business decisions and to make sure there is nothing like tax evasion going on.

      It’s not Musk forcing them to work overtime, working the 996 is pretty common and expected in their culture. He is just “praising” them and insinuating that we should have the same working hours here in the imperial core.

      It’s not Musk that is specifically mistreating and exploiting Tesla workers, it’s a huge problem in most industries. This is something that China is hopefully working to change - see the legislation to combat 996 last year.
