The guy’s a self-admitted “former” fascist, who clearly isn’t trying to hide the fact that he still is one.

The thing is, he’s not joking. He’s already admitted that he “was” a fascist. If him admitting this fact wasn’t enough, I doubt some “jokes” he made when he was more openly fascist would do him in.
