So with all the Ukraine fuss the last 2 months I couldn’t really keep up with events there the last couple of weeks. Suddenly there’s Iranian tanks moving towards the border to engage the Taliban and Pakistan has shelled Afghan territory on their shared border.

What’s up with this? What drove those escalations with their neighbors?

Both likely instances of American provocations. They pay off smaller factions inside Afghanistan to keep stirring up trouble with Iran, while at the same time they regime changed Pakistan so that the government would let them (through the US puppets in the Pakistani military) continue to launch strikes on Afghanistan and keep it perpetually destabilized and destroyed.

Only way to prevent this is if the popular uprising in Pakistan manages to force the government to call early elections and bring back a government that doesn’t lick American boots.

As for Afghanistan itself, the process of stabilizing it will be long and will require investment and security cooperation with its neighbors, particularly China.

The US of course will work as hard as it can to prevent all of that.

You’d have to purge pretty much the whole upper echelons of the military.

yeah its more of a dream, but it would be the only way to get rid of their influence
