I don’t know much about immigration though. Regarding job, many Vietnamese companies are thirsting for tech talents. The pay won’t be as good as the US however.

kredditacctoShit Reactionaries Say•At a certain point, I just don't feel like watching and rebutting things like this
19·2 个月前Before deciding whether a reactionary argument worth engaging, we must consider the the audience and the impact. There are many reactionary echo chamber not worth spending energy attacking, because you are not going to sway any opinion. You are a single human, you must pick and choose your battle.
For the reactionary echo chambers that get out of control and can pose a serious threat, consider employing coordinate efforts, even technological methods. Although, if these efforts are backed by state actors, then small people like you and me aren’t going to win.

Ask Lemmygrad•How does lgbtq+ support as well as other progressive ways of thought co-exist in religious people while their religious text proclaim it as a sin?
7·2 个月前The way I see it. Religions are tools to be used. There is no such thing as a pure religion, the ruling class always co-opt religion to serve their purposes, and imperialist forces always co-opt religions to create conflicts. And when the working class become the ruling class, it will be no different, except that now it would be a tool to serve the common good.
Religious beliefs are to be inferior to laws, religious institutions are to be managed by socialist institutions. Beliefs, customs, and practices that no longer fit the new context are to be discouraged or even condemned. However, we must not rely on force to do so. The primary means are education and propaganda, consistent and persistent. The Chinese has a saying: 水滴石穿 (Water drips, stone wears away).
Disclamers:
- I have only based my perspective on East Asian culture, which traditionally take it easy with religious stuffs. I do not know how different are the Islam societies.
- The socialist government must be trusted by the people (having full legitimacy) in order to implement something like this.

World News•Clown World. Venezuelan fascist María Corina Machado wins Nobel peace prize
10·2 个月前“Comparing Trump to this woman is like comparing diarrhea to constipation”
– one Vietnamese comment I’ve seen on Facebook.
The Nobel Peace Prize has no credibility in the eyes of Vietnamese. It is but mental masturbation amongst the promoters of false democracies.
I don’t find this news interesting one bit. There’s nothing special to the guy other than having some right-wing followings. He’s mediocre. And if he would die from some disease, it is what it is. People die everyday.

Comradeship // Freechat•Why the fuck are so many spanish speakers pro-genocide???
16·2 个月前There are Western lovers even within nominal socialist countries such as China and Vietnam. Their existence in the rest of the Global South is no surprise.
Imperialism will lash out violently before it breathes its last. I only wish that the process of dedollarization would be completed before then.
I don’t live in Japan, is it true that their history textbooks, education, and media keep the mentioning of the war crimes committed by Imperial Japan to a minimum? I hear it on Reddit, and I hear it from Vietnamese too.

Soviet Propaganda Posters•Vietnamese People Are Eternally Grateful To The Great Lenin
2·3 个月前If Vietnamese still use Chữ Nôm then every character would also be a syllable.
But then again, a CJKV character (Hanzi, Kanji, Hangul, Chữ Nôm) is technically a character according to unicode, but it is not a unit of writing. A CJKV character have components and strokes, and the components may have components of their own. OTOH, nobody actually thinks of a latin character as having components (seriously, what are the components of the letter “A”?)

Soviet Propaganda Posters•Vietnamese People Are Eternally Grateful To The Great Lenin
4·3 个月前The Vietnamese sentence has 8 syllables but only 4 words:
- 8 syllables: “đời”, “đời”, “nhớ”, “ơn”, “lê”, “nin”, “vĩ”, “đại”
- 4 words: “đời đời” (eternally), “nhớ ơn” (graceful), “Lê-nin” (Lenin), “vĩ đại” (great)
What about the Russian sentence?
Trots is more like Android. Compromised to serve the capitalists/proprietary.
And just like Linux, Marxism-Leninism marketshare is currently low.
I’ve seen some people claimed that they succeeded in overthrowing the government only because the polices and the armies weren’t cooperative. It also appears that the military had taken control of Nepal. I’ve seen many Vietnamese netizens speculated that this is script to give legitimacy to a coup: First, let the protesters and rioters force the government to resign. Then armies move in to replace the protesters and rioters. The result is that the armies took control of the government without being seen as a coup.

The Deprogram Podcast•A Nazi who gave speeches on campuses was assassinated (in 1967)
6·3 个月前Hmm, the establishment can try to take it down via the hosting providers that Lemmygrad uses. But this scenario usually only happens when the establishment feels extremely threatened. For example: They fear platforms like Lemmygrad would be use to plan a revolution. Then again, who know?! Maybe Trump would be clown enough to give Lemmygrad infamy.

8·3 个月前I see that you’re new here.
unless there’s a persecution by right-wingers and liberals
This is an impossibility.
Lemmygrad is explicitly a Marxist-Leninist instance. Its culture is hostile to right-wing, liberal left-wing, idealistic left, fake left. Liberal voices aren’t valued here.
The only way for it to be persecuted is to be defederated from other instances (e.g. Lemmy.World), but nobody cares. Defederation only blocks the flow of information between instances, it doesn’t take the instance down.
Edit: Actually, another way is DDoS.
Why though? Did he know something he shouldn’t?
“Being civilized with the people you disagree with” is what liberals expect from a civilized society and from the United States. But reality contradicts their expectation. A civilized society wouldn’t have any gun violence to begin with. They could either double down on their beliefs and “moral principles” or be pragmatic and wake up to the ugly reality.

Python requires a computer to run it.
I imagine there must be some quick
*.github.iostatic site (written in JavaScript) that does the exact same thing.
