Yeah, it used to be the biggest subreddit on the website, with tons of ‘Jailbait’ material posted daily. The mods were powermods of numerous other subreddits- including that Maxwell account. It got taken down eventually, but only after years of it having topped Reddit’s charts. It was a big fiasco back then.

You also have to observe the audience’s class orientation. I say this, having failed and realized the futility of trying to agitate to my Petite-Bourgeois & Labor Aristocratic family. It can be possible to successfully agitate non-Proletarians, but their class interest and conditions push them towards reactionary or conservative views- such as my family.

Do you have any readings, sources, etc; about this? I cannot seem to find anything about this online, atleast not in English. Seems like something very important that would explain why there was such a conservative atitude on sexuality in the USSR.

Yeah, it’s 30s to 20s here in the semi-arid (usually) hotbed part of Texas, where all the oil gets sucked up. Not to mention the rainpour. Saw some post on Leftypol that was railing against Marxism-Leninism and ‘Authoritarian Socialism’, praising Libertarian Socialist movements- and included, as examples, Rojava and Zaptistas as successful movements (even saying they were much more successful than the Soviet Union, China, etc). Though I give the Zaptistas slightly more credit than the Rojava. Wonder how they feel now, lol. If I find it again, I’ll screenshot it and edit it onto my post, it was bizarre.

I know how it feels to be a part of a reactionary Hispanic family, so do not feel as if you’re alone in this type of situation. I can relate to the laziness, it happens to me all the time too. Thanks for the Spanish and English sources. I would just need to brush up on my mother tongue, lost by living in the heart of empire all my life. There is quite the urgent need for comprehensive propaganda we can disseminate against the prevailing capitalist narrative here, especially in foreign affairs. The Bourgeoisie of the United States definitely takes advantage of such language barriers in order to obscure vital information, like yours. Yeah, it’s deliberately omitted that the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact was a non-aggression pact first and foremost. Didn’t the Soviet Union try “Collective Security” pacts with the French and British, first, AFAIK? Liberals simplify everything to their idealistic point of view.

Are they quite reactionary? I’m thinking it’s just the specific conditions of my family being Labor Aristocrats or Petite Bourgeoisie leading to such reaction, and not any sort of culture or ethnicity. It’s just so disappointing. They’re extremely individualist, and believe fully in the “American Dream”- to such an extent that, when I make a joke about it (i.e: “You gotta be asleep to believe it”, etc), they get provoked.

I was just thinking along this same line two days ago. My fucking petite bourgeois family was talking about how, in Cuba, Venezuela, etc; that the people have “no weapons” and, as a result, they can never oppose supposed “socialist electoral rigging” or “dictatorships” (I imagine you get what I mean, it’s that same bullshit capitalist propaganda). These same stupid assholes will never use the guns they have for “protecting our rights”, and “protecting our communities against the government”. Without political and class consciousness, they’ll never get further than mild discontent. They’ll never raise a barrel if they already have accepted it as normal, they’re so atomized from one another that they cannot form any sort of collective resistance- if push comes to shove.

My step-father said she should have complied. How easily these supposed freedoms that the “great” American nation creates, gets thrown away- and fast. Unfortunately, I am forced to hear such Petite Bourgeoisie reaction everyday.
