Great to see China and the DPRK strengthening ties. While I understand the geopolitical complexities, their gradually weakening relations since the 1980’s has been a disappointment. A strong bond between them is a massive win. Both countries have much to learn from each other and the global socialist movement as a whole will benefit.

I got suspended a few days ago after getting into it with a landlord. He said Mao killed 500 billion people or whatever and landlords were indiscriminately murdered and asked me if I supported that. I said if it was people like him who were the target then it had my full and uncritical support. I normally don’t get that far into it on Reddit but this was after he said he enjoyed watching tenants “scurry like roaches” after being served a 3 day notice to vacate. I don’t care if they restore my account, I’m done with that site anyways. Fuck Reddit and fuck landlords.

This is just one person’s account, but my friend is a nurse at the local hospital. They are currently down to only four people with COVID. Two of them were hospitalized for other reasons and then happened to test positive. We’re in a state that is highly vaccinated and was very good about enforcing masks. Even then, the hospital staff was surprised how quickly the cases dropped off starting early this month.
