    I watched a video where Bernie said that this would sky rocket the prices of healthcare for a lot of people, if such thing happened, would it be temporary or long lasting (let’s say until next elections or whatever)? If I’m understanding correctly it’s all about healthcare that blue and red nazis can’t make a deal so until there it’s government shutdown?

      Well the Democrats definitely aren’t gonna fix this once they get into power, ratchet effect and whatnot. I’m sure their donors are just giddy that the Republicans are doing the dirty, profit-maximizing work for them.

      Federal Medicaid funding and ACA subsidies are at stake, and it would have long-term impacts. The healthcare cuts were already passed months ago and are about to go into effect, so many people have been waiting hoping something will change because they don’t know how they’ll get insurance for January. Hopefully the democrats see that this is deeply unpopular and stick with it for once to secure funding in time.
