Israel is starving Gaza as we speak. They are explicitly stating no Palestinian will make it out alive.
I protest. I get out on the street. I boycott. But it doesn’t improve these situation in the slightest. The rest of the world is looking and doing nothing. And I feel like losing hope a bit. Like, what can I do more? I don’t know anymore.

a) the Zionist entity doesn’t care about its people being taken hostage, it has killed dozens of them itself; i don’t see any leverage being achieved this way
b) this hypothetical is very similar to what the German RAF (Rote Armee Fraktion) tried in the 70s and that didn’t really work; the population didn’t respond in the way they had hoped, and the ruling class doesn’t care about human life, not even that of its own members, because they place the interest of the class above that of any individual member of the class; for fascist death cults like Zionism this is even more the case
I don’t think the israeli government would care about hostages but can you imagine how insufferable the zionists outside of isisrael would become. All the settlers who fled because of the war would go nuts and they would start putting pressure on the nations they fled to to stop the war.
Baader Meinhof started out as terrorists and moved up to kidnapping prominent business owners. Propoganda of the deed type thinking. I think what Hypotheticalwhatif is thinking is more a second wave/international al-aqsa flood. Doing what the resistance did but doing it in their own backyard.
I kinda like the idea of supporters of Palestine showing zionists what it looks like when they actually join Hamas.
I think what Hypotheticalwhatif meant, is it would have to be a zionist israeli that has a metric shit-ton of power/wealth/importance/contacts with important figures/an integral part of Zionist colonization, for it to matter.
And maybe China, Russia, Iran, and Hamas could all work together in secret and behind closed doors, to achieve this, and avoid direct consequences for any/all participants.
