    Tonight I learned that the beings who prevented famines in Poland, Czechoslovakia, and Korea were actually inhuman monsters. Good to know!

    But to answer your question: yes, even anticommunists are still people. I can understand the urge to dehumanize them, especially after seeing atrocities that they committed, but when we do that we risk presenting an oversimplified image of our oppressors that makes them less recognisable in reality. For example:
