I’d like to buy one, but I’m kinda confused about which models can be jailbroken and their pros and cons. Ideally it would have a >6" screen and cost between 60-160 euros, 200 max

    Kobo ereaders are great. You can install Koreader/Plato on it super easily. Even on the stock OS you can load epubs/mobis/etc. via USB.

      Just to add to this. Interestingly enough Kobo brand runs Linux so it can be pretty easily modified. Tolino brand (the European brand name for the same Rakuten produced product) runs Android and is much more awkward to install different apps on.

      Agreed, I have a Libra 2 that I loaded a ton of epubs from Anna’s archive.
