It’s gotten so stale, in fact, that murderers try to “distinguish” themselves against their bland colleagues by having a gimmick, like illegible handwriting, eating the victims, or publishing a manifesto. Maybe there still was some intrigue left to them in the late 2000s, but the general public has just about gotten fed up with this shitshow, and I’m flat out sick that otherwise gifted documentary-makers waste their time on these attention hogs.
