This will be the Democrats’ strategy to avoid another Bernie being in the primaries.

They have no plan. They could have run someone smart enough to not say good things about the Cheneys and now the most likely successor is Walz, who is so much better than her. And she isn’t getting any use out of him because she’s running such a right wing campaign. They don’t know what they’re doing. It was obvious that Biden was not capable of campaigning, but he said he was going to run so they made no preparations at all.

I see this in the corporate world all the time. The conservatives at least demand some kind of plan, even if you’re easily fleecing them and the plan is not realistic at all, they at least want a plan written out.

The liberal members of leadership literally just… vibe it out. I have no other way to explain it, just complete non-concern and passing off the duties to their underlings to go out for brunch.

Both ways result in shitty products and failed projects but the second you say the emperor has no clothes, you are ostracized, threatened with violence, and driven out of the organization.

Kinda funny fucking up my job and slacking off with zero consequences after I realized that, though. Just be a viber, it would be hilarious if it wasn’t so sad.

      Oh there will be another.

Not to piss anybody off by implying bernie is anywhere near the left but it actually is wild somebody as far left as him got as far as he did before the dems completely neutered him.

They’ve done simillar hatchet jobs on far less progressive people. People still agree that it’s weird everybody stopped supporting Dean after the scream, seemingly unaware of the fact people stopped supporting him because every media outlet in the country spent two weeks saying that voters lost faith and didn’t think he was electable anymore.

They’ll try this bait and switch again next time around if there’s a candidate that suggests reducing fossil fuel production or increasing taxes on the rich, let alone M4A or any kind of social justice reforms.

Dems platforms have been screaming to the right the last couple cycles they learned their lesson and anybody to the left of Reagan is gonna get smothered in the crib as a matter of policy before the voters have an opportunity to build momentum.
