There is some Japanese spam that we are being affected with. Some of you might have noticed.
I have set up automated removal for it. Please report if you see a spam post that is 2 minutes old or more.
We are not sure what the point of this spam is but if it is anything like the last time it is probably an outcome of a fight somewhere in the Japanese fediverse. Not sure over what though.
not sure if its related but for some reason when i click on a reply to one of my comments the url is taking me to a random post or telling me its not a real post? maybe deleteing stuff en masse is messing with the urls? or is it just me.

like this is what i see when i try to click to go to this comment from my inbox. i have to manually navigate to it to pull it up.
Might be a problem with client but I would need more info to debug.
all of them including this one lol. I click the button to go to this comment and it gives me a 400 post doesnt exist error.
It’s probably unrelated. The removals I am doing can be seen here: https://lemmygrad.ml/modlog?page=1&actionType=ModBan (with the reason “spam”.) I am just banning the accounts making the spam post and banning them and removing their posts. That shouldn’t cause what you are seeing.
