I’ve only visited two.

  • Saudi Arabia (For Haji, the Islamic Pilgrimage)
  • Japan (I’ve visited two times actually, it’s nice but not a big fan of it’s history and government.)

How about you guys?

It makes me sad to think about actually because I have always loved geography and social studies in general. Never been beyond burgerland :(I have a potential trip to russia planned though.

Moscow is beautiful but very expensive and bougie. And St Petersburg is too westernized. If you want to see real Russia go to Nizhny Novgorod or Yekaterinburg.

I’d say go to Dzerdzhinsk for real experience, but that might be too cruel for a new visitor.

Also, both Nizhny and Ekaterinburg work well as tourist destinations, the former’s administration has been working hard on creating the image of a tourist attraction

Don’t forget to visit the metro! Especially the central stations from the Stalin era
